Born in 1984: the Wood Rat (甲子) in Korean Saju
1984 is a Wood Rat year — 甲子 in the 60-year cycle.
Rats are quick, clever and resourceful. They notice opportunities early and get along in almost any crowd. Their challenge is worry — the mind keeps counting.
Wood years shape people who grow and plan — idealistic, kind and focused on the future.
In Korean Saju the year starts at Ipchun (입춘), not on January 1. In 1984 Ipchun fell on February 5, 1984, 00:25 (Korea time, 15:25 UTC). Born before that? Your animal is the the Pig.
