Born in 2008: the Earth Rat (戊子) in Korean Saju
2008 is a Earth Rat year — 戊子 in the 60-year cycle.
Rats are quick, clever and resourceful. They notice opportunities early and get along in almost any crowd. Their challenge is worry — the mind keeps counting.
Earth years shape people who hold things together — stable, practical and loyal.
In Korean Saju the year starts at Ipchun (입춘), not on January 1. In 2008 Ipchun fell on February 4, 2008, 20:03 (Korea time, 11:03 UTC). Born before that? Your animal is the the Pig.

- Thunderbolt Fire — sudden energy and dramatic turns
In 2026 people born in 2008 turn 18.
