Born in 2009: the Earth Ox (己丑) in Korean Saju
2009 is a Earth Ox year — 己丑 in the 60-year cycle.
Oxen are patient, steady and hard-working. They don't rush, but they don't quit either. People trust them with important things.
Earth years shape people who hold things together — stable, practical and loyal.
In Korean Saju the year starts at Ipchun (입춘), not on January 1. In 2009 Ipchun fell on February 4, 2009, 01:51 (Korea time, 16:51 UTC). Born before that? Your animal is the the Rat.
