Yang Wood + Yin Earth compatibility in Korean Saju
How Yang Wood and Yin Earth get along, by Day Master.
Gap + Gi (甲己) is a classic 'heavenly match' in Korean Saju. The tree and the soil: one gives direction, the other gives roots. The pair turns into Earth — stability and trust.
Yang Wood shapes Yin Earth: Wood controls Earth. There is attraction and structure here — Yang Wood brings direction, Yin Earth brings what Yang Wood wants to manage. Respect keeps it from turning into control.
Yang Wood · The Great Tree
You grow straight up, no matter what. People feel safe in your shade — you're the friend who keeps promises and the one others quietly follow. Your challenge: bending when the wind changes.
Yin Earth · The Garden
Things grow around you — people, plans, projects. You're practical, caring and remember every detail. Your challenge: you feed everyone and worry you're not doing enough.
