Born in 1940: the Metal Dragon (庚辰) in Korean Saju
1940 is a Metal Dragon year — 庚辰 in the 60-year cycle.
Dragons are ambitious, charismatic and full of big ideas. In Korea the Dragon is the luckiest animal — it brings rain and success.
Metal years shape people with backbone — principled, determined and precise.
In Korean Saju the year starts at Ipchun (입춘), not on January 1. In 1940 Ipchun fell on February 5, 1940, 07:58 (Korea time, 22:58 UTC). Born before that? Your animal is the the Rabbit.
