Born in 1948: the Earth Rat (戊子) in Korean Saju
1948 is a Earth Rat year — 戊子 in the 60-year cycle.
Rats are quick, clever and resourceful. They notice opportunities early and get along in almost any crowd. Their challenge is worry — the mind keeps counting.
Earth years shape people who hold things together — stable, practical and loyal.
In Korean Saju the year starts at Ipchun (입춘), not on January 1. In 1948 Ipchun fell on February 5, 1948, 06:42 (Korea time, 21:42 UTC). Born before that? Your animal is the the Pig.
