Born in 1970: the Metal Dog (庚戌) in Korean Saju
1970 is a Metal Dog year — 庚戌 in the 60-year cycle.
Dogs are loyal, honest and protective. They stand up for what is right and stay by their people.
Metal years shape people with backbone — principled, determined and precise.
In Korean Saju the year starts at Ipchun (입춘), not on January 1. In 1970 Ipchun fell on February 4, 1970, 14:44 (Korea time, 05:44 UTC). Born before that? Your animal is the the Rooster.
