Born in 1987: the Fire Rabbit (丁卯) in Korean Saju
1987 is a Fire Rabbit year — 丁卯 in the 60-year cycle.
Rabbits are gentle, tasteful and diplomatic. They avoid conflict, make spaces beautiful and are often luckier than they think.
Fire years shape people who shine — passionate, expressive and quick to act.
In Korean Saju the year starts at Ipchun (입춘), not on January 1. In 1987 Ipchun fell on February 4, 1987, 17:49 (Korea time, 08:49 UTC). Born before that? Your animal is the the Tiger.
- Sound element (納音)
- Fire in the Furnace — talent shaped by hard work and heat
In 2026 people born in 1987 turn 39.

Your animal has a calm relationship with this year's animal: no big storms. Results depend on your own plan — a good year to build steadily.
Samjae alert: this is your middle 'three calamities' year (눌삼재), traditionally the heaviest. Koreans keep plans simple, avoid big risks and look after their health.
Rabbit in 2027
Your animal is in the same triad as this year's animal. Your group's energy is strong — teamwork, popularity and good timing are on your side.
Samjae: this is your last 'three calamities' year (날삼재) — the cycle is ending. Finish things, let go of what didn't work, and get ready for a lighter year.
