The Tower
Keywords: revelation, sudden change, liberation, awakening
The Tower shows a bolt of lightning striking the top of a tall tower and knocking off its crown. It’s the card of the unexpected: a truth coming to light, a plan collapsing or a certainty that no longer holds. It’s scary, but it sets you free. What falls was a structure built on weak foundations. After the crash comes a clear sky and the chance to build something more honest, more yours and much sturdier.
Reversed
Reversed, The Tower can show that you’re trying to avoid a change that’s already inevitable, or that the shake-up is happening inside: a crisis of ideas, a way of thinking that crumbles. Sometimes the tremor is gentler than feared. Accept what’s shifting and look for support. Rebuilding calmly is courage too.
Love
In love it can bring a revelation that changes the relationship or a conversation that brings everything into the open. It stings a little, but it clarifies a lot. If the bond is strong, it will come out more honest. Shared truth is a better foundation than silence.
Work
At work it announces sudden changes: reorganizations, plans that fall through or an idea that breaks the mold. Don’t fight what has already happened. Think about what new structure you want to build and start sketching it now.
Advice
When something breaks, ask yourself what it was falsely holding up. Whatever is still standing after the lightning is what’s worth keeping.

- 火 Fire
K-Fate assigns The Tower to Fire (火): lightning as Fire that bursts in all at once. In saju, Fire melts Metal (火剋金), dissolving what is rigid so it can take a new and better shape.
