Born in 1942: the Water Horse (壬午) in Korean Saju
1942 is a Water Horse year — 壬午 in the 60-year cycle.
Horses are free, energetic and social. They love movement, travel and being where the action is.
Water years shape people who flow — intuitive, adaptable and deep thinkers.
In Korean Saju the year starts at Ipchun (입춘), not on January 1. In 1942 Ipchun fell on February 4, 1942, 19:42 (Korea time, 10:42 UTC). Born before that? Your animal is the the Snake.
- Sound element (納音)
- Willow Wood — graceful, flexible and charming
In 2026 people born in 1942 turn 84.

It is your own animal's year. In Korea this is a year to stay humble and steady — big energy, but also more mood swings. Good for renewing yourself.

Your animal and this year's animal are a secret-friend pair. Help comes quietly — a contact, a partner, an easy deal. Good for relationships.
