Born in 1944: the Wood Monkey (甲申) in Korean Saju
1944 is a Wood Monkey year — 甲申 in the 60-year cycle.
Monkeys are clever, funny and inventive. They solve problems fast and get bored with routine.
Wood years shape people who grow and plan — idealistic, kind and focused on the future.
In Korean Saju the year starts at Ipchun (입춘), not on January 1. In 1944 Ipchun fell on February 5, 1944, 07:24 (Korea time, 22:24 UTC). Born before that? Your animal is the the Goat.

In 2026 people born in 1944 turn 82.
