Born in 2001: the Metal Snake (辛巳) in Korean Saju
2001 is a Metal Snake year — 辛巳 in the 60-year cycle.
Snakes are wise, calm and intuitive. They think before they speak and see through people quickly.
Metal years shape people with backbone — principled, determined and precise.
In Korean Saju the year starts at Ipchun (입춘), not on January 1. In 2001 Ipchun fell on February 4, 2001, 03:27 (Korea time, 18:27 UTC). Born before that? Your animal is the the Dragon.
- Sound element (納音)
- White Wax Metal — soft-looking but precious and refined
In 2026 people born in 2001 turn 25.
